A network of distinct local platforms
Each Downtown Directories city site maintains its own local identity, service-area content and participating providers while following a consistent approach to category organization, partner recognition, privacy and user experience.
Why the network exists
Large unrestricted directories often create clutter rather than clarity. Downtown Directories uses a narrower model: useful information about selected professional services, organized by city, with one exclusive participating provider in each available category.
Independent ownership and operation
Downtown Directories is an independent commercial network and is not affiliated with municipal, provincial or federal government. Participating providers are independently owned and operated. The network is operated as a U1.ca property.
